&lt;p&gt;RawCull watches memory in &lt;strong&gt;two ways&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Its own safety line (85%)&lt;/strong&gt; to warn you early&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;macOS memory pressure signals&lt;/strong&gt; (&lt;code&gt;Normal&lt;/code&gt;, &lt;code&gt;Warning&lt;/code&gt;, &lt;code&gt;Critical&lt;/code&gt;)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These are connected, but not identical:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;85% line&lt;/strong&gt; is RawCull’s internal rule of thumb.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Normal / Warning / Critical&lt;/strong&gt; comes directly from macOS and is the real system status.&lt;/li&gt;
