Browsing, RAW 9, and Local AI
A concise guide to RawCullBrowse, including folder browsing, RAW 9 adjustments and exports, and three optional local AI models.
Submission update — October 2, 2026: RawCullBrowse was submitted for Apple App Store approval. This dated update does not confirm that the app is available to download.
RawCullBrowse is built upon code from RawCull. It is a native macOS photo browser for exploring folders, inspecting photographs and camera information, and adjusting RAW files supported by Apple’s RAW 9 decoder on macOS 27 (Golden Gate).
Three optional AI models—DataComp CLIP, Meta SAM 3, and Qwen3-VL-2B-Instruct—add semantic search, visual similarity, subject review, and photo assessments. The models run locally on your Mac; ordinary browsing does not require them.
RawCullBrowse requires macOS 27 or later and an Apple Silicon Mac.

Use RawCull when you want a catalog workflow for ratings, burst decisions, and copying selected RAW files. RawCullBrowse focuses on folder browsing and RAW adjustments.
